Busom Buddies

Some of you may have noticed my little poll off to the side about getting transformed into a feminine article of clothing, and while this cap doesn't deal with clothing per-say, it does deal with being 'inanimate.'  Even if they are still organic.  I tried out this caption on MasterCaster who was gracious enough to let me run a bit wild.

I think most people's 'problems' with getting turned inanimate is due to the fact that they've lost what makes them human--the ability of self-awareness and self-thought.  So in my world, if you give those things back to the inanimate, a huge problem is then secured.  Speaking of secured...  wonder how the boys will feel when the bra is undone.

Literally

Literally in the literal, not figurative, sense.  A recent creation for Tar on the Haven.

Dee-lighted

Today's from the vault features an earlier caption I created for Dee which shows her in a bit of a lighter situation.  If I recall, I made this when Dee added to her preferences that she didn't 'always' have to be in goth or emo clothes & make-up.  I was also having a lot of fun with opposites that day I suppose.  So, I present Dementia as only me, bright-eyed Kaity, could.

B for Brendetta

Well, let's be honest, with all the lack of attention to detail, giving Brendetta a B is pretty generous.  Here's a capback I made for user taralyn2011.  She's a big fan of getting transformed by accident and not wanting or desiring the change, which speaks to me because that's where I started on this journey.  I always liked being the innocent bystander when a transformation happened--you had done nothing to deserve it nor did you want it, but it was there anyway for you to deal with.

Z is For...

Well ladies, here it is.  The end of Kaity's TG alphabet.  Z is for Zebra because, well, Z is always for Zebra.  That's what we teach the kiddies anyway.  Of course, it must be mentioned that Zerophiliac would have fit well here.  If you haven't checked out that movie, I recommend it as one of the better TG-inspired independent films.

Zebra seems to cover something women can do effectively that men can't: effectively wear animal print.  I'm not saying men can't wear it, but...  well, they don't really make it, do they?

And so concludes the ABC's of TG.  If you enjoyed this little series, do not fret or cry!  More themed series are on the way...  or at least, I have several ideas and hope to have the time to sit down and write them soon.

Y is for

Y?  Because I said so!  It's a second-person Point-of-View caption!  And yes, sadly, this means next week will end our alphabet.

U is for...

Ulla...  wow wow we we wow wow wowee.

As with most letters, I could have chosen something more obvious for the letter 'U.'  However, I really liked the idea of trying to describe the relief felt when removing a piece of unfamiliar clothing on an unfamiliar body.

Kaitlyn's Weekly One Sentence Challenge WINNER #2

This past week's winner was Caitlyn Masked!  Congratulations!  It was short, simple, and it worked on all levels.  Tehehe, get it?  All levels?

Again, congrats to Caity M!  Be sure to check out this week's KWOSC down below!

There's Borrowing...

And then there's stealing.  Theft.  You wouldn't do it in real life--at least I hope you wouldn't--so why do it online?  If you're a common checker of these blogs, you've probably heard of the shenanigans occurring with persons benefiting from the captions we love.  And I'm not talking about the super-fun shenanigans nor the restaurant.  I'm talking about beingandrissa, of whom I refuse to actually link.  Now only does this person benefit from captions, it's captions she didn't even have the decency to write herself.  This is why a few years ago I began incorporating my tag into my work, which evolved from just my name and maybe a descriptor, like shown above, into the Kaitlyn's Cap Fairy I use today.

So there's a couple of questions to ask.  The first of which is: What constitutes as stealing in the caption world?  To me, there are two answers.  Let's begin with the obvious: photos.  We don't own them, but furthermore, we don't pretend to.  Although, there is one caption I made using my own photography, but that's another story.  In any case, I think the majority of the TG Caption community agrees that the real art is in telling the story and the overall design of the caption.

So here's the second answer: we steal ideas.  Sure, I come up with something original now and again, and am sure others do too.  But I'm also of the opinion that everything is, to some level, a recreation of the old.  That's why so often we see other captioner's interpretations of the same universe or story idea.  Is this stealing?  I don't think so.  In fact, I know Morpheus is one creator who seems absolutely thrilled to see others try their spin on a Great Shift caption.  Above is my first and I believe only attempt at another one of Morpheus' universes:  Miss Chiff.  It was quite the fun universe to play in, though I found it a bit tougher to caption.  But I really liked Morpheus' stories.  And as far as I'm concerned in the captioning world, this is the only mischief that should be going on.

Kaitlyn's Weekly One Sentence Challenge WINNER #1

So many good stabs at this one.  They all just kind of popped!  I thoroughly enjoyed Caitlyn-Masked's reference to the Matrix (at least I think that what that was), and Madcap McGee (Maddie) was really close with her use of the word 'deflated' (tho the term 'reversal gas' could only make me think of an inverted fart...  Sorry!).  This week's KWOSC Winner is Dementia of Deelusions of Grandeur.  Thanks to everyone who participated!  I'm still new in the blogging world, so help me get better known and tell people about me!

Dee gets a limmerick using the image!  I've always loved these playful Irish poems, and it just goes to show you don't have to wait until March to use them!
