Love Exchange

According to the most recent poll on the blog, it would seem most of you like the Role Exchanger universe above the others (though Medallion of Zulo is not far behind).  I find this interesting considering I didn't really see Role Exchanger captions back in 2010 when I created this for Rachel (Yes, Rachel of Rachel's Haven).  As I mentioned before, I really enjoy this universe, and back in 2010 decided I would start using it in captions, and created over 20 in a sort of themed series for Haven traders.  Part of me still feels like I had a hand in bringing this universe to the captioning arena, but who really knows...  but it does seem that since I did start using it, I see it a lot more.

I liked the idea of having two couple exchange roles, including the way they felt about one another.  It was an interesting take which I felt worked very well.

Not About You

Some girls just don't seem to get that when their gender gets exchanged, so does their social roles!  A creation I mad for Tar yesterday in a trade as I am catching up on what I've missed the past few weeks.  Which for my fellow readers means new captions, so yay for you, amirite?

Role Out!

I take no claim to creating the Role Exchanger universe.  I do, however, feel that in 2010, I made the universe much more well known in the community of caption trading.  I ran a promotion on the Haven to create these for folks who wanted to trade for them, and ended up creating near 30 in that time.  This was the first I created for that promotion, and one of the true cases of a Role Exchange.

Role Exchanger

I've posted before about Role Exchanger captions, so I thought I'd post one from my collection.  It's a seriously under-played universe in my opinion, and works really well for those who enjoy random swaps of the sort, but the reality of something like the Great Shift would just be too much.  This is one I created for myself to kick off an initiative I had on the Haven a couple years ago, and (thankfully) it grabbed some attention and led to a good number of Role Exchanger captions.

An Exchange of Roles

What is the role exchanger?  Well, it's a lesser known universe in the TG world than others, but I found that many people quite like it.  The role exchanger allows for small-scale changes, and can sometimes be as random as you want it to be.  Here's a caption I made for Dee back in 2010 before I began my role exchanger project on the Haven, which eventually led to the creation of roughly 20 or so more role exchanger captions by request.
