Bargains

Both "shopping for bargains," and "bargaining for his old life back," it would seem.  =)  I have to say, Christy might be convinced, considering her "husband" is doing an awfully good job of adjusting to the predicament she placed him under--for what, we may never know--but his two cardinal mistakes will be 1) asking for reconsideration, and 2) being too good at adjusting to the change.  Christy may have just found herself a fun girlfriend, instead.  ;)
